First Aid/CPR Certfied

On Saturday Phil and Kayla took a first aid/CPR class at the local fire department. The Gwinnett County Fire Department offers the classes about 4 times a month. It's about a 6 hour course. We thought since Kayla is now a certified babysitter that it would also be good for her to know first aid and CPR. Hopefully she'll never have to use those skills. So for the next two years Kayla and Phil are first aid/CPR/AED certified. Way to go guys!

Good for them! Not only does being certified in CPR teach the necessary skills but the formal training also gives the confidence to respond in a life threatening situation. A suggestion would be for them to refresh their skills on occasion (or at least the cognitive portion) after a year the information can become a little fuzzy. I know that some Online sites like www.procpr.org offer the information for free and would be a good way for her to review if they ever felt so inclined.
