This weekend I shared some precious times with the boys. It's the same thing I used to do with Kayla when she was little. Saturday night Logan and I sat in his bed, read stories, cuddled and he fell asleep. I shared some of that same thing with Alex (when he wasn't feeling well Sunday night) in my bed. Just like years ago (I can't get in Kayla's mile high loft bed now) I did with Kayla. It's probably one of the best memories I'll cherish forever.
It reminds me of the story "Love You Forever" that we got when Kayla was born and a book I share with all new expectant parents. It truly shows the bond between parent and child. To my kids:
I'll love your forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living,
My baby you'll be.
